Brandon Ingram has committed to Duke as a member of the 2015 recruiting class, he announced on Monday.

The 6-foot-8 small forward is ranked as the No. 3 prospect in the ESPN 100. Ingram was one of the top risers late in the recruiting process after excelling at the McDonald's All-American Game and Nike Hoop Summit. He's considered a likely one-and-done prospect due to his length and shooting ability.

A North Carolina native from Kinston High School, Ingram chose the local Blue Devils over Kansas, Kentucky, N.C. State, North Carolina, and UCLA. He becomes the fifth commit for Duke's 2015 recruiting class, joining five-star center Chase Jeter, five-star point guard Derryck Thornton, four-star shooting guard Luke Kennard, and three-star center Antonio Vrankovic.

Derryck Thornton has decided to reclassify and commit to Duke for the 15-16 season.

Thornton now is the third-ranked point guard and 17th overall player in 2015.

Duke was facing the 15-16 season without a true point guard following the departure of Tyus Jones.

"I have been considering reclassifying up for months, so it's been on my mind," Thornton said.

Tyus Jones has declared for the 2015 NBA Draft after one season at Duke.

"Tyus could not have done a better job for us this past year," Mike Krzyzewski said in a statement. "We're so very happy for him and his family to have the opportunity to declare for the draft.

"He's going to get a lot better, but people have already seen him and know how he handles himself, especially in pressure situations and in the biggest games. He comes through like a champion! I loved coaching him, and I believe he'll be an outstanding professional. At this time, I think is so appropriate for him to take advantage of this opportunity."

RealGM's Shams Charania reported last week that Jones had begun meeting with potential agents and was moving towards declaring for the draft.

Justise Winslow has declared for the 2015 NBA Draft.

Winslow helped lead Duke to the 2015 National Championship in his lone season with the school.

Winslow, the third-highest freshman scorer in the ACC this season, averaged 12.5 points per game on 48.6 percent shooting from the field.

Tyus Jones is proceeding toward plans to declare for the NBA Draft and is scheduling representation meetings, sources told RealGM.

Jones was named the Most Outstanding Player of the Final Four for Duke.

Jones averaged 11.6 points, 5.8 assists and 3.6 rebounds per game in his freshman season.

Jahlil Okafor has declared for the 2015 NBA Draft, leaving Duke after his freshman season.

Okafor is expected to be one of the top three picks in the draft.

“What a great decision!” said Mike Krzyzewski. “This is a tremendous opportunity for Jahlil and he has earned it. Obviously, he has done an incredible job here at Duke and he will always be a part of our Duke basketball family. We could not be happier for he and his family.” 

Grayson Allen has decided to return to Duke for his sophomore season instead of declaring for the 2015 NBA Draft, sources tell RealGM.

Allen scored 16 points in the National Championship Game.

Allen's playing time increased deep in the tournament.

Tyus Jones is expected to be a late first round pick if he leaves Duke for the NBA.

Many NBA executives believe Jones' stock will never be higher after leading the Blue Devils to the National Championship.

"It's hard to see his star being higher," one high-level NBA executive told me after the game. "He still can't guard and is a below-average athlete, but he has [guts], is smart, poised, is a solid shooter and can play pick-and-roll. He should probably leave."

"He needs to decide how much time he wants to spend in the D-League or on an NBA bench next season versus trying to repeat," another NBA guy said. "If he goes pro, he's top 20 or 25. He had a fantastic performance tonight and throughout the year. His teams always win, and he elevated his team throughout the tourney."

One NBA general manager said simply, "He's got to go out."

Tyus Jones was named Most Outstanding Player of the Final Four following Duke's 68-63 win over Wisconsin.

Joining Jones on the All-Final Four Team were Justise Winslow, Grayson Allen, Frank Kaminsky and Sam Dekker.
